Description
A 1967 United States Kennedy Half Dollar, composed of 40% silver, consistent with mid-20th century American coinage. The obverse features a left-facing profile bust of John F. Kennedy, encircled by the legends “LIBERTY” and “IN GOD WE TRUST” at the bottom, directly above the date “1967.” The reverse displays the Presidential Seal, depicting an eagle with a shield, olive branch, and arrows, surrounded by “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “HALF DOLLAR, ” with “E PLURIBUS UNUM” on a banner above the eagle. The metallic composition displays notable iridescent toning and surface patina, with areas of both warmer and cooler hues.
