Description
A group of vintage automotive electrical components by Delco Remy and Motorcraft. This lot comprises several ignition coils and various switches, from manufacturers including Delco Remy (a General Motors Division) and Motorcraft. Visible text and markings include “Delco Remy, ” the “Delco” logo, “Motorcraft, ” “D5TE-12029-AB, ” “12 VOLTS, ” “USE WITH EXTERNAL RESISTOR, ” “BAT, ” “ONE COIL D512 1115238,” “ONE SW. (switch) D907 1996097,” “Delco Remy Division of General Motors Anderson, Indiana 46011,” and “MADE IN MEXICO.” The items are predominantly constructed from black painted metal and plastic/resin. Many components are housed in their original, aged cardboard packaging. The collective style and visible part numbers suggest a production period from the mid-to-late 20th century, with research indicating some coils are consistent with 1974 Ford applications.
