Description
A 1995 United States Mint Silver Proof Set, presented in its original black velvet-lined outer box with gold-foil text reading “United States Mint Silver Proof Set • 1995”. The set includes five modern US circulating coin denominations – a Lincoln cent, Jefferson nickel, Roosevelt dime, Washington quarter, and Kennedy half dollar – all dated “1995.” These coins are encapsulated within a clear, sealed plastic display case against a black background. An accompanying “Certificate of Authenticity” from the United States Mint confirms the dime, quarter, and half dollar are composed of 90% silver, while the cent is copper-plated zinc and the nickel is cupro-nickel. The coins exhibit a distinct proof finish with highly reflective fields and frosted devices, and were produced at the San Francisco Mint.
