Description
An Edwin Walter fused art glass platter. This circular to subtly oval-shaped decorative glass platter features a slightly raised rim and shallow side indentations. The clear glass is internally textured or frosted, providing a background for a stylized design executed in a dark reddish-brown hue. The decoration comprises a central circular motif resembling a sun or eye, above multiple concentric rows of wavy or scalloped patterns suggestive of waves or scales. Visible markings along the rim include "WALTER" on the left and "GERMANY" on the right.
