Lot 78:
Description
A single glazed earthenware vase attributed to Hull Pottery, part of the Wildflower Series. The vessel features a flared, ruffled rim and two opposing loop handles, characteristic of American Art Pottery from the Mid-Century period (c. 1940s-1950s). The decoration consists of high-relief molded floral and foliage elements. The blended glaze transitions from a deep rose pink at the rim, fading to cream or off-white across the body, and finishing with a pale blue/aqua base. The molded flowers are detailed in green, white, and pale yellow/pink accents. A blue tape sticker inscribed "78" is affixed to the interior rim.
Height: 7.5 inches
