Lot 100:
Description
A pair of glazed ceramic planters or vases executed in the style of mid-century floral pottery. Each piece is molded to depict a large, stylized flower, possibly a hyacinth or tulip, emerging from a base of large, pointed foliage. The decoration utilizes multi-tone glazes, featuring white and pink shading on the flower petals, mottled teal and blue-green on the supporting leaves, and a textured brown glaze applied to the small, square bases. The unglazed undersides display visible crazing on the white glaze patch and a raised circular or spiral molding mark, though no legible manufacturer text or numbers are present.
