Lot 64:
Description
A collection of five pieces of pressed glass, executed in an olive or avocado green hue, characteristic of Mid-Century Modern (MCM) glassware. The set features the Harlequin Diamond Pattern, sometimes attributed to makers such as Anchor Hocking or Hazel Atlas. The collection comprises one handled pitcher and four matching tumblers. The pitcher features a pour spout, an applied handle, and a removable clear plastic or glass lid resting in the rim. The body of both the pitcher and the tumblers displays a deeply molded repeating diamond motif, where alternating diamonds are smooth and faceted while the intervening diamonds exhibit a textured, stippled finish. A blue tape marking with the number ’38’ is affixed to the pitcher handle.
