Description
A vintage wooden bottle crate constructed for a 4×5 arrangement, featuring yellow-painted exterior sides with faded, stenciled red script reading “Coca-Cola.” The crate utilizes metal reinforcement brackets at the corners and has a visible blue marker inventory number “84” on one end panel. The crate contains 20 glass Coca-Cola bottles of the characteristic contour or “Hobbleskirt” style. The bottles are primarily light green or aqua-tinted glass and display variations in markings and contents. Several bottles are empty and open, exhibiting embossed script such as “TRADE MARK REGISTERED PATENT OFFICE” and size markings including “6 1/2 FL. OZ.” The glass base of at least one empty bottle is embossed with the text “NEW YORK.” Several other bottles remain capped and contain dark liquid, featuring distinct paper labels. These labels include commemorative editions such as “Christmas 1997” and a “Daytona Beach Bike Week 2004” edition, marked 8 FL. OZ. (237 ml).
