Description
A large, vintage staved wooden utility vat or tub, constructed of vertical wooden planks secured by three horizontal galvanized metal bands. The wood features a medium reddish-brown finish. The item rests on a separate, rustic wooden stand featuring four turned legs. Functionality is provided by two curved, oxidized metal handles attached near the rim and a brass or bronze spigot with a wooden handle mounted near the base. The construction style is consistent with primitive or farm utility barrels. A blue inventory sticker marked "84" is affixed near the top rim.
