Description

A single antique wooden butter churn constructed in the vertical dash style. The barrel is formed from weathered wood staves secured by four sets of dark metal banding. The churn retains its original wooden plunger mechanism, which features a long handle attached to a wooden cross-paddle agitator visible inside the barrel. The construction method utilizes visible rivets to secure the iron bands. A small, blue identifying sticker is affixed to the upper section of the barrel.
