Description
A single live turtle specimen, identified through visual consensus as likely belonging to the Mauremys genus, consistent with the Western Caspian Pond Turtle identification. The animal features a moderately domed, glossy carapace exhibiting complex patterns of dark brown, black, and yellowish-tan striations across the scutes. The plastron is light yellow, conspicuously marked with approximately twelve large, dark brown or black blotches. The specimen appears alert with striped head and textured limbs extended.
