Description
A pair of Ball Ideal canning jars, constructed from aqua/teal-tinted glass. The jars are identified by the strong market consensus as the Bicentennial (1776-1976) edition. Each jar features a matching glass lid secured by a wire bail closure. The body of each jar is prominently embossed with the script logo Ball above the block lettering IDEAL. One jar displays faint, partial patent text near the base rim, reading PAT’D JULY 14, 1908. Production markings are visible on the bases, which are marked with the numbers 1 and 2 respectively. The jars are of quart capacity.
