Description
A single antique volume of The Holy Bible, Containing the Old and New Testaments, published by the American Bible Society in New York in 1860. The large volume features a thick text block and is bound in dark brown leather. The covers are decorated with extensive blind-stamped foliate and scroll tooling, centered around a plain cartouche on the front. The spine is segmented by five raised bands and stamped in gilt text, HOLY BIBLE. The interior pages, examples of which display text from the Book of Exodus, are printed in a two-column format.
