Description
A clear cut crystal decanter with its matched stopper, frequently attributed to makers such as Waterford or similar Irish crystal houses. The decanter features a tall, slender neck with vertical fluting leading to a tapering body that is heavily decorated with a deep brilliant-cut pattern incorporating alternating cross-hatching and elongated fan motifs. The clear crystal displays high refraction. The stopper is spherical with vertical faceting and a ground shank designed to fit the decanter neck. The decanter body has an adhered blue rectangular label with the handwritten number 38.
