Lot 206:
Description
A single heavy stoneware utility pitcher featuring the popular mid-20th century "Brown Drip" glaze pattern, commonly associated with American manufacturers such as Nelson McCoy and Robinson Ransbottom. The vessel has a cylindrical body, an applied circular handle, and a squared rim incorporating a defined pour spout. The two-tone glaze is characterized by a speckled tan and cream upper section that transitions into a rich, glossy brown and rusty-red body, creating the signature drip effect. The base shows an unglazed foot ring and indistinct impressed manufacturer’s markings. An applied blue inventory sticker marked "84" is affixed to the side.
