Description
A 2020 ‘America the Beautiful’ series quarter dollar coin, issued for Tallgrass Prairie, Kansas. The obverse features a bust of George Washington, encircled by ‘UNITED STATES OF AMERICA’ and ‘QUARTER DOLLAR, ‘ with ‘LIBERTY, ‘ ‘IN GOD WE TRUST, ‘ a ‘W’ mint mark, and a ‘V75’ privy mark. The reverse depicts a butterfly on tallgrass, inscribed with ‘TALLGRASS PRAIRIE, ‘ ‘KANSAS, ‘ ‘2020,’ and ‘E PLURIBUS UNUM’ (Latin for ‘Out of many, one’).
