Description
A group of fine china collector plates from the Rockwell’s Light Campaign Series featuring illustrations by Norman Rockwell. Manufactured by the Edwin M. Knowles China Company, this series was produced in the early 1980s in cooperation with the General Electric Company. Each plate depicts a scene of American domestic life and is finished with a gold-toned rim. The collection includes titles such as This Is The Room That Light Made, Grandpa’s Treasure Chest, Evening’s Ease, and Close Harmony. The reverse of each plate is marked with the manufacturer’s hallmark, the series name, the specific plate title and its position in the series, a unique plate number, a Bradex number, and certification from the Rockwell Society of America. The series was limited to a production period of 150 firing days.
