Description
A collection of 125 United States one-cent coins, primarily comprising Lincoln Wheat and Lincoln Memorial issues. The coins are struck in copper alloy and, according to the accompanying handwritten inventory, span the years 1923 through 1988. The obverse of each coin features the profile of President Abraham Lincoln. The reverse designs include the wheat ears motif found on cents minted through 1958 and the Lincoln Memorial design introduced in 1959. This lot is presented as an unsearched group of circulated currency.
