Description
A 1 troy ounce .999 fine silver bullion round produced by the Highland Mint to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the National Rifle Association. The obverse features a central stylized logo consisting of the letters N, R, and A, surrounded by the text NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION 1 TROY OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER. The reverse commemorates the 150 YEAR ANNIVERSARY with the dates 1871 and 2021 flanking a central eagle and shield motif. The reverse also contains the letters HM for the Highland Mint. The outer border of the reverse is inscribed with the phrases DEFENDING THE SECOND AMENDMENT, HUNTING & CONSERVATION, SUPPORTING LAW ENFORCEMENT, and SAFETY & EDUCATION. The round possesses a proof-like finish with mirrored fields and frosted devices. It is housed in a clear plastic capsule.
