Description
This lot consists of a pair of vintage collectible decanters manufactured by Avon Products, Inc. Each decanter is shaped as a pheasant and is constructed with a dark amber molded glass body featuring a textured feathered surface. The removable heads function as screw-on stoppers and are made of plastic with green paint, gold-tone beaks, and red eye highlights. Circular paper labels on the base of each item read AVON PHEASANT DECANTER OLAND AFTER SHAVE 5 FL. OZ. AVON PRODUCTS, INC., NEW YORK, N.Y. 10019. Both decanters are empty. Web research identifies these items as being from circa 1972.
