This 2005 US American Silver Eagle bullion coin is struck in .999 fine silver. The coin features the Walking Liberty obverse and the Heraldic Eagle reverse. Obverse inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the date 2005. Reverse inscriptions include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER – ONE DOLLAR, and E PLURIBUS UNUM. The coin features a reeded edge and no mint mark, which is standard for the bullion version of this issue. It is housed in a clear protective capsule.
