Description
This lot consists of 7 expired Alabama passenger vehicle license plates manufactured from stamped or printed aluminum. The collection includes a variety of specialty and standard graphic designs issued in the early to mid-21st century. Included in the group is a Protect Our Environment specialty plate with embossed green alphanumeric AMF568 featuring a landscape with a waterfall and forest. There are two Helping Schools specialty plates featuring a light blue background with graphics of a red apple, green book, and yellow ruler with alphanumerics CC3159 and CC31. One Sweet Home Alabama coastal scene plate features a shoreline graphic and alphanumeric 2A00A00. Another coastal scene plate features a graphic of a heron and printed alphanumeric 2AF5114. The Alabama Veterinary Medical Foundation specialty plate includes the slogan Love them Fix them with dog and cat silhouettes and alphanumeric SNA621. The collection also contains a traditional Heart of Dixie plate in a cream color with embossed red characters 94CU and the script Alabama logo. Registration stickers visible on the plates range from approximately 2004 to 2014. Each plate features standard mounting holes.
