Description
This 12-inch (1:6 scale) action figure is part of the G.I. Joe Classic Collection manufactured by Kenner, a division of Hasbro. The figure depicts a U.S. Navy Blue Angel pilot and is constructed of articulated plastic with a tailored blue fabric flight suit. The uniform features Blue Angels patches and Cdr G.I. Joe and 1 insignias on the chest. Accessories include a yellow flight helmet with a retractable visor and oxygen mask/microphone attachment, green-tinted aviator-style sunglasses, a fabric flight cap with insignia, and a yellow neck scarf. The figure is presented in its original window box packaging, which includes a velcro-fastened front flap. The interior of the flap contains a printed history of the Blue Angels flight demonstration team. The front of the box displays a gold-foil seal reading Classic Collection, 1998, Limited Edition, G.I. Joe. The reverse of the box bears the Kenner logo and a copyright notice of 1997 Hasbro, Inc., Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The exterior of the clear plastic window is signed in gold-toned marker. The inscription reads: Best Wishes Always / #2 / Shane [Last name illegible].
