Description
Nikko America Inc. Exploration Submarine, also known as the Super Submarine, Model No. 11400 / RB-11400. This 1/250 scale radio control model is constructed from white and yellow molded plastic with metal components and internal electronic systems. The submarine features a clear forward observation dome and is decorated with decals for Exploration Submarine, Radio Control System, and the numeral 105 on the conning tower. The unit operates on a 3-channel superheterodyne digital proportional system on Band 3 (27.095MHz) with capabilities for forward, reverse, steering, diving, and surfacing. The lot includes the submarine unit marked RB-2110, a radio control transmitter with dual levers and trim adjustment, two yellow plastic display and maintenance stands, and a set of ring-shaped depth balance weights. Documentation includes the original instruction manuals and associated paperwork. The item is housed in its original color-illustrated cardboard box with a protective styrofoam interior insert. The box features a vintage Toys R Us price sticker and a blue price label. Made in Japan.
