Description
This vintage countertop display jar was manufactured for the Lance snack company. The jar is constructed from clear glass with an eight-sided, octagonal form and a wide, slanted mouth designed for retail display. The side of the jar features a red and blue decal logo reading FROM THE HOUSE OF LANCE. It is fitted with a red-painted, tiered metal lid topped with a silver-toned metal pull knob secured by a screw. The interior of the lid is embossed with the name LANCE. The exterior base of the glass jar is embossed twice with the word LANCE arranged around a circular center, alongside the text MADE IN U.S.A. and the number 2.
