Description
This mixed media sculpture features a stylized Grey alien head mounted on an industrial metal stand. The head is constructed from a composite material, likely foam latex or resin, and depicts the classic extraterrestrial archetype with large, almond-shaped black eyes, a small nose, and an elongated cranium. The surface of the head is finished with a textured orange-brown coating that has partially degraded to reveal a grey, scale-patterned underlayer. The head is mounted to a vertical iron pipe that is welded to a circular flange base. The base is embossed with the inscription PAT. PEND. followed by several illegible numerical characters. The entire metal component exhibits heavy, dark brown oxidation and surface rust.
