Description
This US Morgan silver dollar was struck in 1900 at the San Francisco Mint, identified by the S mint mark on the reverse. The coin is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. The obverse features the Morgan Liberty head design, the legend E PLURIBUS UNUM, thirteen stars, and the date 1900. The reverse displays the heraldic eagle design with the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, In God We trust, and the denomination ONE DOLLAR. The 1900-S issue had a total mintage of 3,540,000 pieces.
