Description
This German silver coin was issued in 1934 during the Third Reich period. The denomination is 5 Reichsmark. The obverse features the Potsdam Garrison Church design type, a commemorative motif issued after the Day of Potsdam. The reverse displays the Reichsadler design type centered within the inscriptions Deutsches Reich and 5 Reichsmark. The date 1934 appears at the base of the reverse, flanked by swastika emblems. The coin is struck in .900 fine silver. A mint mark is present on the obverse at the base of the church tower but is not definitively legible. Reference: KM# 82.
