Description
This vintage ceramic teapot was manufactured by Sadler in England. It features a white swirl-molded or gadrooned body crafted from glazed earthenware. The exterior is adorned with a transfer-printed floral band at the midline, consisting of pink roses, blue forget-me-nots, and yellow blossoms with green foliage. The spout, handle, lid rim, and foot are accented with hand-applied gold gilt. The matching domed lid features floral decoration and is topped with a scroll-style finial. The interior includes a built-in strainer at the base of the spout. The underside features the embossed mark SADLER ENGLAND and the impressed number 9, along with a hand-painted pattern number 1892 over X.
