Description
This group of decorative kitchen wall hangings features several wooden plaques and a small wooden-framed chalkboard. Most plaques are rectangular with rounded corners, showcasing printed illustrations of a portly chef engaged in various kitchen activities. The motifs include a chef with herbs, one tossing pizza dough, a chef with a potted lemon tree, and a chef with a lobster platter accompanied by the text Let’s Eat. A circular plaque depicts the same character preparing a salad. These chef-themed illustrations feature a printed signature in the lower right corner that reads G. Allen. Additionally, the collection includes a rectangular plaque with vintage-style commercial graphics for GLORY-B Florida CITRUS FRUITS from the Pasco Hills Fruit Co. of Dade City, Florida. The plaques are made from a thin wood or composite material with natural-finish edges and include raffia loops for hanging. The chalkboard is housed in a simple wooden frame with a scalloped profile at the top and bottom.
