Lot 204:
Description
This collection consists of three pieces of vintage blue speckled enamelware, a style frequently referred to as graniteware. The group includes a large oval roasting pan with a domed lid and side handles, a round stock pot with a matching domed lid and side handles, and a three-piece drip coffee pot. The roasting pan and stock pot both feature concentric ridges on their interior and exterior bases, a common design for heat distribution in this type of cookware. The drip coffee pot includes the main vessel, a central perforated insert finished in black enamel for coffee grounds, and a lid. No manufacturer marks are visible on the pieces. These items are characteristic of 20th-century American kitchenware.
