Description
This lot consists of a pair of US silver dimes housed in protective cardboard flips. The first coin is a 1940-S Mercury dime, also known as the Winged Liberty Head dime, minted in San Francisco. It features the Mercury head design on the obverse and the fasces and olive branch design on the reverse. The second coin is a 1904 Barber dime, minted in Philadelphia. This coin features the Barber Liberty head design on the obverse and a cereal wreath on the reverse. Both coins are struck in 90 percent silver with reeded edges.
