Description
A six piece place setting of Homer Laughlin Fiesta dinnerware in the Sunflower yellow glaze. The collection consists of a dinner plate, a salad plate, a rimmed soup or cereal bowl, a saucer, and a teacup. The items are made of glazed vitrified ceramic and feature the iconic Art Deco-inspired design of sculpted concentric rings around the rims and body. The underside of each piece features factory marks from the Homer Laughlin China Company. The dinner plate, salad plate, bowl, and saucer are marked with a green underglaze stamp that reads HOMER LAUGHLIN CHINA CO. / Fiesta / U.S.A. / LEAD FREE. Specific date codes visible in the marks include UUU for the dinner plate, XXC for the salad plate, YYB for the bowl, and UUB for the saucer. The teacup is marked with the code TTC. One bowl features an incised stamp that reads fiesta / HLC / USA.
