Description
This is a wooden apple crate featuring advertising for Lake View Brand, Pajaro Valley Growers, California. The crate is constructed from rough-sawn lumber with visible grain and natural knots. One side is stenciled in black ink with the text Lake View Apples Brand and Pajaro Valley Growers, accented by apple graphics and a decorative border. One end panel features a multi-color lithographic paper label titled Lake View Brand, depicting a red apple and two yellow apples on a leafy branch with a scenic orchard and lake landscape in the background. The box is assembled with nails, and the label is secured at the corners with small green-headed tacks. A prominent natural knot hole is visible on one side panel.
