Description
This is a Maxam brand folding lockback pocket knife, part of a series featuring military branch inscriptions. The knife features a single clip point blade with a partially serrated combo edge and a thumb stud for manual one-handed opening. The mark side of the blade is etched with the word NAVY in block letters. The tang stamp on the mark side identifies the maker as MAXAM. The reverse tang is stamped Mfg. In China Japan Steel. The handle is constructed from a black textured synthetic material with checkered grip panels and includes a lanyard hole at the pommel. A lockback safety mechanism is integrated into the spine of the handle. This item is accompanied by a black nylon belt sheath featuring a hook-and-loop closure.
