Description
This sterling silver pendant features a large, oval, bezel-set green turquoise cabochon. The central gemstone is enclosed within a multi-tiered frame decorated with a geometric fret or Greek key pattern, flanked by twisted rope cable borders. The pendant is equipped with a substantial, tapered bail that carries coordinating rope and geometric decorative motifs. The reverse of the piece displays two distinct stamped marks: a square cartouche containing a stylized crescent moon with a capital letter R inside, representing the Relios jewelry manufacturing company by designer Carolyn Pollack, and a rectangular cartouche stamped .925 followed by a copyright symbol. The construction is solid with a closed-back design behind the silver frame but featuring an oval cutout that exposes the back of the turquoise stone.
