Description

This group of United States silver coinage comprises 90% silver dimes of the Winged Liberty Head (Mercury) and Roosevelt types. The collection includes a 1927-S Mercury dime, a 1947-D Roosevelt dime, and 1960-D Roosevelt dimes. Each coin is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. The Mercury dime obverse displays the Winged Liberty head design, and the reverse depicts a fasces and olive branch. The Roosevelt dimes feature the left-facing profile of Franklin D. Roosevelt on the obverse and a torch between an olive branch and an oak branch on the reverse. All specimens feature reeded edges.
