Description
This US silver dime, dated 1897, is of the Barber Head design type. Struck at the Philadelphia Mint, the composition consists of 90% silver and 10% copper. The obverse features the Barber Head design with the legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and the date 1897. The reverse bears the denomination ONE DIME within a wreath design. No mint mark is visible on the reverse. The coin is currently housed in a non-professional 2×2 cardboard flip with black ink notations.
