Description
A lot comprising two metal bowls of graduated size, each featuring a pair of curved loop handles. The larger bowl is elevated on a simple cylindrical pedestal base with a rolled foot. The items are finished in a matte sage or olive-green paint over a red primer. Both pieces exhibit prominent horizontal striations characteristic of spun metal production. One bowl has a small central hole at the bottom, suggesting use as a garden planter. The items are characteristic of late 20th-century rustic garden-ware. The underside of the pedestal base displays an incised square-shaped mark with no legible text or symbols.
