Description
This lot consists of six vintage tongue-and-groove adjustable pliers of varying sizes and manufacturers. The collection includes tools from prominent American makers and one European manufacturer. The tools are constructed of forged steel. One pair features original black dipped vinyl grips with a yellow printed Craftsman logo, model number 45091, and a Made in USA mark. Two pairs are Channellock brand, stamped Meadville PA USA, with model numbers 420 and 430 visible on the heads; these tools retain green vinyl grips. A fourth pair is stamped Diamond, Duluth, USA on the head and lacks handle grips. A fifth pair is stamped Germany and No 537 with green grips. The final pair is a smaller set stamped Made in USA with a maker mark that is not clearly legible and lacks handle grips.
