Description
A varied collection of vintage industrial workshop threading tools, featuring a Morse Cutting Tools tap set, a large-scale industrial machine tap, and multiple loose taps and wrenches. The Morse set is housed in a yellowed plastic index case bearing the G+W logo, identifying it as a product of the Gulf + Western Manufacturing Company, New Bedford, Massachusetts, manufactured between 1968 and 1984. A large-diameter industrial tap with a square drive shank and seven flutes is contained in its original metal-stitched cardboard box. The assortment includes two T-handle tap wrenches of different sizes. One loose tap is stamped 1/2-20 NF GH3 HSS USA. Also included is a Vermont American backing card for a No. 20076 carbon steel plug tap intended for use with a 27/64 drill bit.
