Description
A trio of ceramic dinnerware items from the Fiesta line produced by the Homer Laughlin China Co. in the United States. The pieces are finished in a lead-free Scarlet red glaze, a color introduced in 2004. The set consists of one square dinner plate, one round salad or dessert plate, and one round cereal or soup bowl. All pieces feature the characteristic Fiesta pattern of molded concentric rings at the rims and center wells. The square plate is marked on the base with a black stamp featuring HOMER LAUGHLIN CHINA CO. in a circular format surrounding the script Fiesta logo with U.S.A., WWD, and LEAD FREE below. The round plate features a matching black stamp with the date or plant code PPFA. The bowl has an incised mark under the glaze on the base featuring the script fiesta logo with HLC and USA.
