Description
This is a promotional pressed glass cake plate produced for White Lily Flour, which was historically manufactured by J. Allen Smith and Company in Knoxville, Tennessee. The piece is made of green uranium glass, which exhibits a characteristic bright neon green fluorescence under ultraviolet light. The plate features a central optic swirl pattern and is supported by three integrated feet on the underside. The flat rim is embossed with uppercase lettering that reads: WHITE LILY FLOUR – CAKE – SMITH’S, KNOXVILLE, TENN. – PASTRY -.
