Description
A US 1887 Morgan silver dollar struck in 90 percent silver at the Philadelphia Mint. The obverse is inscribed with the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM and the date 1887. The reverse displays the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and ONE DOLLAR, alongside the motto In God we trust in Gothic script. The coin features a reeded edge. The absence of a mint mark on the reverse indicates mintage in Philadelphia.
