Description
This 1958 US Roosevelt dime is struck in 90 percent silver. The obverse features the portrait of Franklin D. Roosevelt with the designer initials JS visible at the base of the neck. The legends LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST are present, along with the date 1958. The reverse displays a central torch flanked by olive and oak branches, with the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the denomination ONE DIME. The absence of a mint mark indicates this coin was struck at the Philadelphia Mint. The coin is presented in a clear plastic protective case containing a white cardboard flip with handwritten blue ink notations reading (P) 1958 #UNC.
