Lot 94:
Art Glass Snowflake Dome Paperweight
Description
A solid glass paperweight of circular bun form, featuring a clear convex upper dome and a flat base. The interior contains a centralized, six-pointed snowflake motif. The design is executed with intaglio etching on the underside of the clear glass, which has been highlighted with reddish-pink pigment to provide contrast against a reflective silver-toned background. The snowflake features textured, branch-like crystalline extensions radiating from a central point. The base of the paperweight shows a small, circular, off-white adhesive residue where a label was previously attached. Faint, illegible remnants of printing are visible on this residue, but no distinct letters or numbers can be discerned.
