A Set of Six John Deere Licensed Ceramic Bowls by Gibson
Description
A Chinese-manufactured set of six glazed ceramic cereal or soup bowls, produced as officially licensed John Deere merchandise. Each bowl features a deep circular well with transfer-printed decoration. The center of the interior is decorated with a green and yellow John Deere Model 730 tractor accompanied by the slogan “Nothing Runs Like A Deere” in black cursive script. The interior rim is finished with a green band and a repeating border design of golden wheat stalks interspersed with green square John Deere logos. The underside of each bowl features a printed green and black backstamp. The mark consists of a green and yellow deer logo beside the text “JOHN DEERE LICENSED PRODUCT”. Below this is the text “MARKETED BY” above a “Gibson” wordmark and a stylized rose device. Further text reads “www.gibsonusa.com”, “DISHWASHER AND MICROWAVE SAFE”, and “CHINA”.
