1923 US Peace Silver Dollar
Description
A 1923 US Peace silver dollar. This coin is struck in 90% silver and 10% copper. The obverse features the profile of Liberty with a radiate crown, surrounded by the word LIBERTY and the date 1923. The phrase IN GOD WE TRVST is struck across the field. The reverse depicts an eagle on a rock clutching an olive branch. The legend reads UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and E PLURIBUS UNUM above the eagle, with the denomination ONE DOLLAR flanking the central figure. The rock is inscribed with the word PEACE.
