Description
A pair of glazed ceramic serving dishes, crafted in a naturalistic, trompe l’oeil style to resemble vibrant green and white/light green leaves with prominent veining. Both pieces exhibit a glossy finish. One dish is circular with a multi-lobed edge, the underside of which is marked with a circular stamp featuring a frog motif, "BORDALLO PINHEIRO Ld." and "PORTUGAL, " along with "MADE IN PORTUGAL." The second dish is an elongated, more rectangular leaf form, with a distinct stem. The underside of the elongated plate bears a faint, incised mark that appears to read "Costo" or "Gosto."
