Description
A group of pink-tinted pressed glass tableware, indicative of Depression Era manufacture. The collection includes six small round plates, one larger round plate, and one triangular bowl. The six small plates, attributed to MacBeth Evans in the ‘American Sweetheart’ pattern, feature an etched floral and vine pattern around the rim. The single larger round plate, attributed to Anchor Hocking in the ‘Mayfair Open Rose’ pattern, displays a molded all-over floral and foliate pattern with radial fluting and a scalloped edge. The triangular bowl, also attributed to MacBeth Evans in the ‘American Sweetheart’ pattern, exhibits a combination of etched and molded leaf and floral designs on its body and flared rim. No visible manufacturer’s marks or text are present on any of the pieces.
Small plates: 6 inches (15.2 cm) diameter
Large plate: 9.5 inches (24.1 cm) diameter
Triangular bowl: 2 inches (5.1 cm) high, 4.75 inches (12.1 cm) wide
